Kenya. Wow.
Never in a gazillion years did I imagine I would find myself here, camera in hand, attempting to make photographs of a place that makes photographs feel almost inadequate.
The landscape is vast, unruly and ridiculously beautiful—Mother Nature showing off without even pretending to be modest. If there is a great creator, Kenya feels suspiciously like the pièce de résistance.
Perhaps only one human thing comes close to matching its grandeur: love.
And so, on this enormous planet, among its infinite tangle of people, I found myself documenting Navishka and Staffan. Navishka, with her Indian and Kenyan heritage; Staffan, from Sweden. Two souls whose story wanders joyfully across countries, cultures and continents.
And what a curious story it is.
